PORTLAND LUMBERJACKS NFL EXPANSION TEAM REBRAND
For my 9th Grade Geography Class, we were assigned a project to simulate bringing an NFL team to any city in the US that currently did not have a city. We were required to create a logo and uniforms, as well as explain why the city was a good place for a stadium an NFL team and why they could maintain keeping the team. My choice was Portland, Oregon. Portland Oregon is the 27th Largest city in the United States. Its population is bigger than Pittsburgh and Cincinnati's population combined! I hope you enjoy these beautiful and pleasing to the eye graphics of the uniforms and logo as much as I did!
Seen below is the team logo for my team. I choose the Portland Lumberjacks. The name fits the mystique of the city of Portland due to the thriving timber industry in the area. The axes and evergreen tree characterize that. I choose the colors green and orange because the green goes with the trees and orange was a nice complimentary color that goes with the style.
These are the home uniforms for my team. Seen below, I went with a Orange base with a green Number and facemask. Notice the Oregon state patch on the right shoulder of the jersey.
These are the Away uniforms. I went with this by basically just inverting all the colors.
These are my first alternate uniforms for my team. I call these "Oregon Pride" since they have the city's skyline in the pant stripe.
These are my last Uniforms. Called "Blackout" because they signify the color black with a beautiful black accent to this jersey. Also with the Portland city skyline on the pant leg.
